Opportunities To
Get Involved & Serve
Where Can I Serve?
Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of Redemption Road is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries such as joining a once a month cleaning team, helping with weekly setup or tare downs, & much much more. Ministry comes in all shapes & sizes. Find your place & get involved serving along side us.
Mission Outreach At Home & Abroad
Redemption Road is thrilled to be part of the building of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries financially & in prayer. The 3 main missionaries we support are reaching many lives in many countries —Zimbabwe, Israel, Armenia, Africa, Spain and Mexico, to name a few. We give month updates on all these. You can see more about them on our missions board in the main sanctuary.
At Home
We also believe in Home Mission, reaching out in our communities, neighborhoods, & schools. We get involved in various city projects, do prayer walks, have community events in our parking lot ie.vendor fairs, trunk or treat, & so on. We are always looking to add more outreach possibilities. We also support & lead christian clubs in area High School & desire to soon be in all the area High Schools.
Music & Worship Team
God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music and drama ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in sign team. We have a rotating worship team. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God
DC Crew
Our facility is cleaned weekly be what we call the DC Crews or Deep Cleaning Crew. The crew is broke up into 4 teams with 4 team captains & are scheduled to clean one Saturday a month. You can join a team or all the teams if you wish. Cleaning generally takes about an hour. All supplies are supplied by Redemption Road. Sign up today on the the sign up wall in the lobby of the Main Sanctuary.
We have a team of Ushers that are there to help make the services run smoothly & safely. Ushers are posted at the main doors & help seat people, help set up & breakdoanthe necessary teams needed for our services & events. They also watch over the parking lot & provide security for the services & events.
Greet Team
Our Greet Team welcomes everyone before & after each service & event. Pass out Bulletins, Guest Packets, informational items, gives directions, helps parents check in their children to Kids Club & WEE Jungle Nursery, as well answers any & all question people may have.
Prayer Warriors
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. 45 minutes before each service, people come in the main sanctuary & pray for the ministry of the Word. We also have a team of Prayer Partners that are always available to pray for & with people before, during, & after every service. Throughout the week, volunteers from our Prayer Warriors team pray for their pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. Each Thursday, the church comes together for a special time of prayer and Bible study.
